I have to admit, I was hesitant to purchase this. I’m a skeptic by nature, and could only find one review to go off of, but I took a chance and ordered it anyway. I have a great mattress which I purchased many years ago. Unfortunately, it’s very firm , which was my preference at the time, but now I find I need a softer bed. This topper is saving me from buying a brand new mattress. Definitely worth the money.

Before purchasing the 3" Visco2 Ventilated Mattress Enhancer I checked similar 3" pads at Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond. Their prices were higher and the pads came with outer covers. The pad sold here is just foam, nothing else. At the stores they have these 3' to 4' sample sections you can feel before purchasing. I laid them on the floor and put my body weight against the pad. In both stores I sunk straight to the hard tile floor. The pads were just too soft for me. The pad sold here, I found out, is about a pound more per cubic foot in density. In other words, for probably most people, you're getting a better foam pad here for less money.

Bed comfort is highly personal so your mileage may vary, but for me laying down on this always feels good. It's made my bed the most comfortable and inviting it's ever been - and that's important because I have always had insomnia. This pad was worth every penny for me.

Unlike others, I found no strong odor and I have a sensitive nose. Once it was on my bed and covered by a mattress pad and sheets that was it, never smelled a thing. Before using this I had slept on a foam/down combination pad that made me sweat even in winter. While this pad does seem to absorb and reflect a little more heat than my regular mattress, it's a million times better than my old pad.

The only negative is the lack of a cover like the kind that comes with 3" pads at the major stores. Not enough of an issue to detract even one star given the great price and the superior product.

My son had back surgery two years ago. This fall he became a freshman in college & the beds were extremely uncomfortable. With this memory foam mattress enhancer he is able to sleep comfortably & wakes without pain.

College daughters loved this for on top of the standard dorm mattress. Very comfortable and good value for the price. Highly recommend using it with an extra padded mattress pad.

This mattress has definitely improved the pain in my upper back and neck. But it is difficult to sit on it as it sinks it too much. And also very difficult to change positions if you do that while sleeping.

But a great bonus for us was the nice big box it was sent in. The box packaging the foam was covered by another huge box. It is quite sturdy and we are now using it as a convenient table for keeping stuff/eating. It is rigid and spacious. In retrospect, this box is coming in more handy than the foam mattress itself so we are very happy. Highly recommended !

To make it short, It was what I expected:
- Right size.
- Good material Quality.
- No quemical odors (just green tea scent).
- I used it right away (after 2 hours of airing and using a mattress pad).
- It provides support with no pressure points (My wife weights 140 lb and I weight 150 lb).
- Pains and aches are going away after just the first night.
- Now we sleep about the same hours but we feel that the quality of our sleep is way better.

I just wonder if body weight has something to do with the people with bad reviews.
Oh and my mattress is very firm.

Not overly cushy. I’m 165 lbs and glad I went with 2 inches and not 3 inches. I’d imagine some mattress cover sheets would have a hard time fitting over both a mattress and the 3-incher. I tend to sleep very hot, and like other reviews have said, this mattress runs cool!

Yes I was a little skeptical that this “mattress enhancer” would actually make a difference. Well it did! I had done all my homework to try to find the mattress enhancer that would be the best for the best price and I think this one fits the bill. I did purchase a queen size for my double bed because I had read that it runs small. It doesn’t; however, with a large pocket fitted sheet, the mattress molds around the edges of the bed very nicely. I have found that I am not tossing and turning as much in bed and I don’t wake up in the AM stiff and achy as I previously had on my standard pillowtop matress. It is a little warm to sleep on but I just adjust by not using as many covers. There definitely was an odor when it first arrived but after 2 days of airing the odor dissapated. I am very happy with this purchase and feel like it was a good buy!

I have tried many foam toppers, and this is just as hot as the others.
I expected a cooler more comfortable sleep. Very disappointed.
