  My old mattress was hard and lumpy. My back was killing me. Faced with disposing of the old mattress and replacing it with a pillow-top style for hundreds of dollars and hours of labor or buying a piece of foam to put on top for the fraction of the price, I went this route.

  The 1.5 inch thickness allowed me to tuck it under my fitted sheet. Although these foam toppers can be many times thicker, I have never felt like it was bottoming out. This is the perfect thickness. As soon as I tried it out, my eyes closed and I felt so relaxed. Unlike an ordinary mattress, my weight is more evenly distributed. I don’t feel pressure points and flat spots. My back felt better after only one night. As far as comparing memory foam to a pillow top mattress, it’s a tough call. Pillow top is a bit more firm.

  Other foam products have received negative reviews for the odor. I suppose any new foam product will have a slight odor to it. This one had a “new car” type of smell to it and the manufacturer says it will dissipate in a few days – but, I don’t find it all that bad.

  For the price, this can be replaced every few years if it becomes stained or ripped.

  We recently purchased a new bed, having to trade in our super soft but back-ache inducing soft bed for a firmer one. I really missed the soft feel of the bed and so ordered this; it makes all the difference! The perfect combination of softness and support – I highly recommend it!

  This was my first purchase from Amazon.com and I am very pleased. I purchased two queen size 1 1/2″ Aerus mattress toppers for our guest rooms. The price was extremely reasonable and the shipping was free. Each guest mattress is firm and older but still in good condition. The memory foam was cut true to size and completely covered each mattress. I slept on one to try it out. The topper has greatly improved the quality of my sleep on this older mattress. It conformed to my body’s shape giving wonderful soft feeling comfort and support and sprang back to its original shape when I got up. It was like a new mattress. Our guests may never want to go home!

  This is a very nice quality mattress topper; a better alternative to foam. Absolutely no odor. Very comfortable, works like memory foam-bounces back into shape.
  Be sure to put it under your fitted sheet as it has no cover and can only be spot cleaned.

  I had trouble deciding which one to buy with all the choices out there, so I simple love my new 1.5″ Aerus NaturalTM Eco-Friendly, Cooler Sleep, Memory Foam Mattress Topper – Queen Size
  I was having trouble falling asleep and then waking up at 3:00 AM., always feeling so uncomfortable. I didn’t have to buy a new bed to get a good nights sleep. I am an older woman and now I sleep like a baby, the 1.5 thickness is just right and the price is better than other ones I looked at on-line and in stores.
  A very happy and well rested sleeper. P.S. my husband likes it too.

  I was a bit skeptical but boy, this is one helluva bargain. Plus theres the added bonus of not having to deal with annoying salespeople in the store. Moving it alone AFTER you’ve unwrapped it is a bit of a pain (I had unwrapped it and let it air out in another room). I bought new 400 count sheets and gel-filled pillows and and my total was under $600 which is like hundreds of dollars cheaper than the piece of crap Sealy I saw at the store. I sleep like this zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Highly recommended.

  I bought a memory foam mattress because I wanted something that wasn’t going to require special delivery. I live on the 4th floor. I wasn’t really sure about this mattress, because I’ve tried memory foam toppers that felt nothing like the tempur-pedic mattresses that you’d try at a Brookstone, so I was worried that this might be another sham product. I was very pleased to find out that it felt exactly like the name brand product. Furthermore I was relieved to discover that it is a solid mattress that keeps it’s shape, it’s not like a flimsy futon mattress.

  I had this a week after I ordered it, which is amazing considering its’ unusualy shape. While carrying the mattress alone up 4 flights of stairs was a challenge, it was not an impossible one. I was able to pick up the 80lb cylinder it came packaged as, without having to drag it on the floor. I’m only 135lbs.

  I’ve heard people complain about the smell, which is reminiscent of latex-paint, but honestly it’s not that bad and it’s not permanent. You are buying a product that was vacuum sealed after manufacturing for easy transit and hasn’t had any air on it yet. You need to let the thing air out for a day or two with the windows open. Spraying some fa-breeze on it certainly will help get you on it sooner.

  I usually sleep during the day, because I work a night shift. On my old click-clack (sleeper sofa) I used to wake up every time I’d shift sleep positions and it would take me several minutes to fall back to sleep. On this mattress I sleep solidly. My boyfriend didn’t wake me when he left the bed either.

  I recommend this to anyone who has tried the tempur-pedic, liked it, but baulked at the price they were charging. This mattress feels exactly like tempur-pedic with out the high markup and high delivery charges.

  I have to upgrade my room before I will try the mattress, but I have to leave a feedback about the delivery.
  I placed the order Saturday night and the mattress arrived Monday 3PM, the estimated arrival was 8-10 days!!!
  That was just a shocking, super fast arrival, even a local mail can not come so fast. WOW!!!!!
  I hope the mattress just as good as the shipping.
  I have to rate it 5 star because of the seller’s amazing service.
  I will update you later when I upgrade my room and start to using it.

  This is a very UNCOMFORTABLE mattress. My husband tried it for a few hours and he had to go see a chiropractor the next day. The foam doesn’t let you move and you are just sleeping in a hole and even the pillow sinks. The smell is another story. After reading the reviews we decided to let it air out for a whole week but even after doing that it still smells awful. Finally we want it to return it and found out that there is a 20% restocking fee and we should assume the shipping back to California. WHAT A DISSAPPOINTMENT!!!!!

  Wondering if we are all reviewing the same product!!
  As usual with Amazon, delivered very promptly with no hassle!!
  Had the Febreeze on standby, as I was expecting an awful smell…opened the box…..no smell. Thought maybe it had to be unwrapped to experience the smell….unwrapped it…no smell.
  Expected it to be a wadded up mess….it wasn’t. It was neatly rolled and it just as neatly unrolled….fit my king size bed perfectly.
  Of course I read the measurements beforehand, then measured my own bed, and was satisfied that it would be a perfect fit if their measurements were true. They were.
  I opened it immediately to get it on the bed ASAP when I got home from work, so it would have plenty of time to do whatever it needed to do so I could sleep on it tonight….heck I could sleep on it 5 minutes after putting it on the bed, only because it takes that long to get the sheets and everything on it.
  Wanted to write this part of it while it was all still fresh in my mind, and will update with a comfort review later.
  But so far, so good!!

  Product arrived okay but topper was, and still is, too smelly with chemical odors to use. Topper was stained when it arrived. Topper does not go to edge of mattress. Bad product, needs to be removed. I would not recommend buying this product. A waste of $125.00.

  This mattress topper is fantastic. It fits the bed perfectly.
  You will notice, it does make your mattress quite a bit higher than it was. I really noticed this, and so did my small dogs. Took them a little while to get used it.
  I’m using this on a sleep number bed, and this is just the cherry on top.

  We have this on our queen bed, which mattress was good but now feels a bit too hard to our aging backs and has saggy spots. This foam topper fixes both issues, as is to be expected. The 3-inch is a good size and it’s a pleasure to sleep — or more appropriately “to sink” — in it every night. At 2.5 lb/cubic ft, the density is medium, which is good enough.

  The foam arrived rolled in a big box. It was not as compressed as I thought — some reviews make you think it’s compressed in a dark hole and then will expand to fill your whole house… it’s not that dramatic!

  However the smell of new foam toppers is a known issue — all foams I’ve seen do that anyway, it’s not just that one. The original smell is not only nauseating, it gives me immediate headaches. I can’t stress that enough: you must let the mattress air and expand in a *ventilated* non-living area for at least 2 or 3 days before using it. Don’t rush it — in case of doubt, let it air one more day rather than be deceived by the chemical smell, as it will be nauseating at first. Put it somewhere out of sight in a ventilated area, such as in the basement or the garage. If after 3 days you can stick your nose on it and not feel the urge to run away fast, then you can consider moving it in the bedroom.
  After a month or so of use, there’s still a slight curious smell the first time I’d get in bed, but nothing dramatic. It’s such a pleasure to fall asleep and wake up on that thing, it’s totally worth it.

  I am very glad I bought this mattress, I needed a new one and I just had to take up on the low prices. I let it expand and air out over night and had it set up last night and after waking up from a beautiful sleep, I did not want to leave the bed. It was to wide to fit in the bed framing, so I had to make a small modification so the mattress could rest flat on the frame. In about an hour I had the bed made and could not wait to sleep in it. The way you just sink in with no feel of springs pushing on your back feels glorious. There is a smell to it but its only noticeable when the air is wafted out from the under the sheets. I hope it goes away as other customers stated. May recommend this to my parents since my father has a bad back. Would also recommend to anyone just wanting to ditch their spring mattress.

  This is our first memory-foam mattress, and we were nervous to order it sight unseen from Amazon. Our experience with the Sarah Peyton 10″ cool sensations memory foam mattress has been really good. We were using a top-of-the-line Ortobom (in Brazil) spring-coil mattress, firm.

  First, you can’t beat the price. $375 is cheap for any mattress, much less memory foam.
  It arrived within three days and puffed up to it’s working height within eight hours. I barely noticed the chemical smell that I’d been prepared for by previous reviews.

  My wife and I, she of 110 pounds and I of double that, both find the mattress very comfortable, although we don’t know if we’ll ever get accustomed to the indentations that stay in the memory of the foam for 30 seconds to 1 minute after switching positions. The other night, she fell into one of my indentations and it apparently didn’t restore itself while she was “in the hole.”

  In the month since we have been using this memory-foam mattress, we’ve had the chance to experiment with others. Our next mattress will probably be a pillow-top of some type, but I think that we’re likely to stick with memory-foam core and not return to springs.

  Pros: price, comfort, speedy delivery
  Cons: working perfectly according to design so as not to create pressure, the indentations in the memory of the foam require a bit of getting used to but are in no way overly obtrusive or a deal breaker.
